Christmas Mantel and Tree

Don't forget to link up to Scraptastic Saturday! (here)

I've got a free minute to show you guys my mantel and tree!
Whenever I'm shopping for Christmas stuff, for some reason I am always drawn to woodsy decor. I just love the warmth and textures that are woodsy.

Oh man I just love it! You can see my Christmas trees in the left that I made a few weeks ago. The right side of the mantel is a little lacking but for now I have the apothecary jar with snow and a pine cone in it.

My garland has red berries and plenty of pine cones in it. I love me some pine cones. Most of the ones you see I got for free! Living in the piney woods of Northwest Louisiana means pine cones are easy to come by.

I WISH I could say I made these cute sweater stockings. I got them at Joann's last year for $20.00 for both. I would love to have our names embroidered on them but someone told me it was impossible because of the way they are sewn.

And here is our tree! We get a real tree every year. I love the smell and fullness and everything about them!
The "theme" is red, white, and silver. A little patriotic or we could say Texas Rangers whom the hubs l.o.v.e.s.

I'm not in love with the bow on top but I ran out of ribbon so it'll stay.

These are two of my favorite and only special ornaments on the tree. The one on the left was given to us by my in-laws after they went to Disney world and it was our first married Christmas together. I got the one on the right for Wyatt. Bet you can't guess what he does for a living?

And there you have it all together! It makes me smile every.single.time. I look over there :)

So do you have a real or fake tree?
