On a More Personal Note: Our Trip to Chicago and Michigan

Don't forget to enter the Chi-Chi Studio Design giveaway HERE! Win a mason jar soap pump!

This is a personal post so if you're not into that sort of thing hit that big x at the top right.

However, if you are into that sort of thing, you can now enjoy a ridiculous amount of pictures and commentary :)

My husband, brother-in-law and his girlfriend all went to visit my husband's older brother, wife, and kids in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Uhhh, got that?! We flew into Chicago and so we spend the entire day there before driving to Kalamazoo. Don't you wish you lived in a town named Kalamazoo? Sounds super cool to me!

We stopped for lunch Giordano's. OH.MY.HEAVEN. This may be the best pizza I've ever tasted in my whole entire life. No pizza will ever compare. Never.

My sweet nephew and my amazingly handsome husband.

These are just all random buildings. I just loved the architecture!

We visited the Science and Industry museum. WOW you could spend the entire day there and never look at everything they have!

We went to the top of the Hancock Tower which is the highest point you can reach in Chicago. Sears (or Willis) Tower is the tallest but Hancock is the tallest lookout. That's me and the hubs in the bottom left and the little brother-in-law and his girlfriend in the bottom right.

One day was spent visiting Lake Michigan. WOW, it is just like a beach. White sandy beaches, clear water and even occasional waves from boats! We splashed, made sand angels, and relaxed!

They have TONS of apple and peach orchards in Michigan. We were hoping to pick some apples but they weren't ready yet. Instead we picked peaches!

The hubs and I with both of our adorable nephews!

We had a wonderful trip. Not to mention that the temps didn't rise above 80 the entire time! Now we are back in the triple digit heat here in Louisiana.

If you're still with me I hope that you enjoyed a glimpse into my personal life! I'm not really sure if you guys enjoying these kinds of posts or not...

P.S. I hope to do some SERIOUS crafting this weekend which means projects to share!
