#EclosBeauty Skin Care and Giveaway

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of ├ęclos Skin Care for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
I'll be honest, I don't really take care of my skin how I should. I don't mean to sound conceited but I was blessed with good skin. It doesn't get oily or dry and I rarely get pimples. Yes, I most certainly count myself as lucky! I also don't wear a lot of make up. I don't wear base or powder at all. It makes me feel like my pores are clogged. So since I wear so little make up, I can shamefully admit that I don't wash my face every night. GASSSPPPP!

So when ├ęclos Skin Care contacted me about trying their products, I was more than game! The starter kit is an affordable $19.99. And one of YOU get the chance to win one! Their products are different than other anti-aging products because of rare apple stem cells extracted from a rare Swiss apple which has shown a tremndous ability to stimulate skin stem cells, encouraging aging skin to behave like younger skin.

Eclos_StarterKit.jpg

When I received my kit, I couldn't wait to get started. Included in my kit was facial cleanser prep, cellular activator face serum, moisture therapy regenerative cream, restorative eye cream, instant radiance facial scrub, skin renewal clay mask, and a terry cloth headband.

I had no clue what half of these products did! I'm a Clean & Clear face wash kind of gal and that's the extent of my face regime. It was so fun to try all of these products. They all smelled wonderful. It wasn't an overpowering scent but a clean and fresh scent. I absolutely loved the facial scrub. It made my skin feel so soft! I know lines and wrinkles are in my future and I should get started now. They had great anti-wrinkle products as well.

Here is the before:

And here is the after:

I can't say if my skin looks any different but it feels smoother and softer!
My only complaint about their products is that I would have liked a picture of each product and the order that I should use them. It's easy to read when to use them but it would have been nice to have a visual.

Now I get to giveaway one starter kit! In order to enter all you have to do is leave me one comment stating which product in the kit you are most excited to try.

Giveaway ends Monday, June 4th.

Italian Pizza Casserole

Italian Pizza Casserole 2

This is one of those super easy recipes that I’ve come to looovee!

Here’s how to make it:

3 cups noodles
1 pound ground sausage
1 onion, chopped
2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (14.5 oz.) can Rotel
1 (3 oz) package pepperoni
1 tbsp. dried parsley
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
Mushrooms (optional)
Any other pizza toppings you want to add

1. Cook pasta, drain and set aside
2. Preheat oven to 350
3. In a large skillet, cook sausage and onion
4. Spoon sausage mixture into a large bowl. Stir in tomato sauce, tomatoes, pepperoni, mushrooms, parsley, oregano, salt and pepper. Stir in 1 cup mozzarella cheese. Add cooked noodles and toss to combine. Spoon mixture into baking dish. Top with remaining mozzarella and bake for 20-30 minutes or until casserole is hot and bubbly.

I make mine half mushrooms and half regular since my husband doesn’t like mushrooms. I also don’t mix my mushrooms but just place them on top.

DSC02957

This is also the recipe halved. It makes a ton! I also use more mozzarella :)

Italian Pizza Casserole

I also save some calories by using turkey pepperoni. There is a HUGE difference between the calories in regular pepperoni and the calories in turkey pepperoni.

Delicious and easy weeknight meal!

Thanks for stopping by :)

Bloom.com {The Social Beauty Network}

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Bloom.com for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Bloom.com is a social beauty network that is revolutionizing the way that women find and buy the right products. I am an incredibly low key product kind of gal. I don't really use hair products besides hair spray and a little straightening protective spray. I also don't wear a lot of make up. My tried and true face includes mascara, blush, and eye make up. No foundation or powder. If I wanted to find or try something new, I would be LOST!

Here's a little snippet from Bloom "We personalize your shopping experience with relevant Best4You recommendations based on unbiased feedback from thousands of women who are your beauty matches." You can find honest opinions of what other women think of a particular product. No company making it sound better than it really is. Completely unbiased feedback. You can't find that just anywhere. There are at least 10,000 items from over 150+ top brands. This is just the sort of help I need. The products are based on your skin tone and hair type. The site also connects you to other people with the same exact features as you. How cool is that?

The best thing about Bloom.com is that it is FREE to join. Can't beat free! If you do happen to purchase something it comes with free gifts and 10% back in Bloom Dollars. First time purchasers can get 30% back on their first order.

Right now Bloom has an amazing sweepstakes going on!

Bloom.com Copy - Google Docs

“Enjoy the Ride” Wall Art {Tutorial}

DSC02907

I have had this art in my head for a while. My inspiration came from this blog and the super cute pillow they made. I absolutely love the quote and I actually do ride often so it’s a double whammy!

So here’s how I made it:

DSC02899

When searching for a good stencil to use, type in whatever you are looking for with “pumpkin stencil” behind it. This makes stenciling about 400 times easier. What I typed in was “bike pumpkin stencil”. I found this bike with flames coming out of the back. Flames didn’t really go with what I needed it so I just cut them off.

Make sure to print it out on good cardstock paper or thick scrapbook paper. I usually just use a regular size piece of paper and hold it up to my cardstock and then cut it to size. Works like a charm every time!

DSC02900

Then you simply cut out all of the black parts. (I went ahead and cut the entire wheel out.) Using a pumpkin stencil makes it super easy!

For the words, I used my Cricut machine. You could easily print them off in any font and cut them out. Or if you are super fancy and have a Silhouette you can use that. I so wish I had one! Hey Silhouette, I’ll test one out for you :)

I then used my Martha Stuart spray adhesive. I sort of gave it a bad grade on this post but I take it back. I’m not sure what I did differently but it worked waaay better this time.

DSC02906

For the canvas I used an old 2 piece set that had a saying on it. I’m not even sure what it said!

DSC02908

DSC02904

The bike is my favorite part!

Are you wondering where I’m putting this?

DSC02909

Any guesses yet?!

DSC02910

The guest bathroom! That badly needs to be repainted. I might move it farther away from the shower curtain because the yellow’s are a little different. (Shower curtain tutorial HERE.)

Now I’ll be reminded to enjoy this ride called life!!

Beauty Box 5 {Fun Products Once a Month}

I was contacted by this awesome company called Beauty Box 5 to review their products. This is such a fun idea for a gift or just to treat yourself for that matter!

Here is a little bit about Beauty Box 5:

I want to introduce you to Beauty Box 5, a cosmetic sampling program that delivers a Beauty Box with 4 - 5 beauty samples once a month with subscription options of $12 monthly, $30 quarterly, or $100 yearly. Our Beauty Box introduces you to hair care, skin care, makeup, fragrances, and anything beauty related. Subscribers receive products from brands of all scales to include luxury, organic, boutique, and more commonly known brands. Our Beauty Box includes packet samples, deluxe, travel size and full size products too! Our goal is to introduce you to innovative products that will fit your lifestyle and to do away with buying products that just end up in our drawers.

And here is what I received!

DSC02895

It was like Christmas! The products came in such a cute little bag.

DSC02897

Included was an eye tint make up sample, lotion that is combined with sunscreen, soy milk cleanser and makeup remover, wrinkle smoother, and hair care! I can’t wait to try them!

This really would make a great, affordable gift that keeps giving for months. The $30 quarterly option wouldn’t break the bank and each month the person would be reminded of you and get to sample fun, new products.

Be sure to check out Beauty Box 5’s website for more information!

My 10 Favorite Snacks: Healthy Eating & Nutrition Tips

Healthy Eating1

Snacks are imperative to keeping your metabolism going. I have a snack every.single.day. between lunch and dinner. The goal of eating a snack is to make sure you aren’t starving at dinner and then overeat. The snack should be around 200 calories or less. It’s NOT a meal!

Sometimes I’ll have two snacks that are around 100 calories each and then other times I’ll just have one at 200 calories. I guess it just depends on my mood!

You could have a candy bar that is around 200 calories or you could have another option that is much more filling. A candy bar will not make you fill full for very long.

So here are 10 of my go to snack options:

1. 100 calorie popcorn

popcorn

2. Banana with 1 tbsp of peanut butter

3. Apple with 1 tbsp of peanut butter

4. Atkins protein bars (LOVE! And that’s my favorite one to.)

5. Dried fruits and nut mixture in a snack size baggie

6. Greek yogurt with fruit mixed in

7. Any flavor Yoplait yogurt

8. Handful of nuts

9. Any 100 calorie snack

10. Beef Jerky

Hope this helps! Grab a snack for between meals!
