3 Day Juice Cleanse: Final Thoughts


3 Day Juice Cleanse


Although I thought about quitting no less than 1000 times, I am really proud that I actually finished this cleanse. It was probably one of the hardest journey’s that I’ve ever been on. When it comes to food, sometimes I am not very disciplined. Let’s face it, I love to eat. The worse it is for you, the more I love it. On the flip side, I work very hard to control what I eat. I love food, but food doesn’t love me. I think if I look at junk food for to long I gain weight.

That being said, what would I do differently? If I do this again, I will probably involve some eating along with juicing. Rather than doing 5-6 juices a day, I would instead do 3-4 and incorporate small meals that include vegetables or fruits. If I happen to be working out while doing another cleanse, I would also incorporate some protein. Fruits and vegetable have no protein. Protein is important if you are working out because your muscles need it!

The craziest thing that I learned was that I wasn’t starving. Never once was I starving. Yeah I might be hungry before drinking a juice but I never was starving.

In the future, I will probably incorporate a juice every now and then for a meal or a snack. I know that I don’t get all the nutrients my body needs on a daily basis and this is a great way to ensure that I am getting those much needed nutrients.
