Sewing for babies is probably my favorite kind of sewing. I don’t know if it’s because it’s such cute clothing or the fact that I suck at sewing clothes for myself. Probably the latter :)
I used the Burda 9650 pattern. I won the fabric from Gigi Fabrics for placing 3rd in the SYTYC competition.
I used this pattern to make THIS outfit as well.
The pattern called for ruffles around the bottom but I left them off. Partly due to laziness and partly due to the mom not wanting to dress her baby in super girly stuff. More the former :)
I love to give hand sewn gifts for baby showers. I think it makes it just a little more special!
