Now let me tell you, I am no jewelry designer. This is my first time to even try it and I’m still not even sure you would call it “designing” jewelry.
These earrings basically made themselves. I received the hook (not sure what they are called) part of the earring from my sponsor Wholeport. I’ve never tried jewelry making and wanted to give it a shot. I picked up the teardrops from Hobby Lobby for about $2.
All you do is grab some pliers or something to open up the little hook, slip your earring on, and then close it up.
BAM! You just made yourself some earrings.
I also received the swirly balls from Wholeport. These were made the same way as the teardrop earrings.
Sometimes you just need a simple pair of earrings to put on. These fit the bill perfectly!
Now that I’ve tip toed into this jewelry making world, I’m curious to try more. You may be seeing more jewelry posts in the future :)
Have you made jewelry? Do you have any tips or tricks? Are there any must have tools?
