This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of iBulb for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

The typical rose that is given for Valentine's Day is gorgeous. However, roses are far from my favorite flower. Here's a personal tidbit of information: My all time favorite flower is the star gazer lily. Tulips are a close runner up. I love how cut tulips come in so many fun and vibrant colors. It doesn't matter what season you are decorating for, tulips can be found in just the perfect color to help in your decorating. I tend to think about Easter when I think about tulips and then I start thinking about all of the fun projects that can be made with tulips.

You've also still got a little time to create a fun Valentine's center piece with beautiful tulips. Here is just one simple idea to whip up:

You could also use red hots, or any other Valentine candy. Now, imagine creating a similar center piece for Easter that has the little peep bunnies instead of hearts. Or Cadburry eggs. Oh wait, I think I would eat them all first.

So now that you have all of these ideas swimming around in your brain, you may be asking yourself, where do I even find tulips? Tulips can be found at grocery stores, garden centers, and flower shops. Grocery shopping is part of my weekly routine. It would be so simple to just add some pretty tulips to the cart to freshen up my house and bring in some color! Who says flowers have to come from a guy? Treat yourself!
